Couple of new bits in the last few weeks,

New Ritchie stem, shorter and raised the bar higher.

Need to replace bits of the drive train for various reasons so thought might as well go 2x10 so buying bits as I can.

Slx crankset arrived this morning, just ordering the shifters, Cassette and rear mech to follow, so far by shopping around and without any extra discounts I will be saving £60 over the boxed set which makes no sense to me what so ever. Even from the cheapest retailer the individual parts work out less.

Set of Racing Ralphs, some Stans sealant and valves and a set of Hope 9mm adapters. Just waiting for my wheels to turn up now. Picked up some ztr crests on Hope hubs from pinkbike. Should save a fair bit of weight from the old setup.

Cheers! Picked the wheels up yesterday morning. Amazed at how light they are. I feel like theres more resistance now. Its this just a normal thing when going from cup and cone to sealed bearing or is a sevice in order?

The front should spin forever & a day ! But you do get slight resistance on the rear! I did strip down my rear wheel & replaced both x2 hub bearings & x2 free hub bearings! But the free hub & end cap seals do take up some resistance! Hope tech sent them out Foc! If your in doubt I personally would use SKF bearings if I was to change again as used these on my other bike & their bomb proof ! The trains that I work on run SKF on their axles and can easy clock up over 100,0000 miles ! Super smooth mate. sorry dude it's x3 bearings for the free hub! ;)

I think part of the issue was me fitting the wheels and heading straight out. I reset the caliper position and they 5 a lot better now. Thanks for the advise on bearings I was considering skf when the time comes.

MattHVAC bought some chines specials before at around £30, every few months we would be out and they would stop working, que another £30 and an interesting slow ride back home in the dark. And they were not as good light out of them 8-) buy cheap, buy twice (or four or five times to be precise)
