Pretty crap, such a nice place to ride! Probably done by someone who got upset with the bikes around DC plus too much free time and with a not very interesting sexual life!

Searching the Facebook for the mentioned group I found other one where someone was telling about strategically placed logs across the trails in Danbury and even worse, fishing line strung between trees at his local spot! Imagine that!

The more i think about it its clever vandalism as the small damage done to bowl and table effectivley closes all the runs!....wonder why they didnt damage the newly dug fc feature by the canyon!!!!!!

I was there on Saturday and bumped into Dave. He was not happy about the hip remodelling and threatening to call the police and get a kid called Oscar fined 15k. My guess is that Oscar and his dad took offence but hey it could have been anyone. I can understand Dave being upset. He has been trying to keep Danbury going for 15 years and people keep on littering and digging regardless It's not just about building without permission, there is also the wildlife aspect. I think was a case of the straw the broke the camels back when it came to dave's behaviour. Anyhoo, The bowl doesn't look hardto repair and the table was subsiding anyway. I'm sure it'll all cool down and return to the normal status quo soon. Keep on riding happy people! :D

This literally breaks my heart to see this... what absolute c%nt has been up to this. Unreal.

This will only cause a field day of more building and people doing repairs that are totally unauthorised. There is a team of people building there with National trust permission. Let them build, dont build if you are not involved in that. Everyone should know that.

I hope it all gets fixed, but a team of guys with spades will unfortuantely only make things worse

It's not FC land it's national trust and they have been against riding since I was a kid 24yrs ago. Lots has been cleared and filled over the years

 Just saw this! I can't believe it. Why on earth someone will do this?
It looks like to me someone local got upset for something or by someone and this is the result.

Pretty shocking stuff but it will be back better than before, they may have done lots of bits of damage to encourage people to wade in with shovels and then plan to catch and fine them....

But this is just speculation, which is bad, don't rise to it guys (& girls)

Sent using the force...

It doesn't matter what you ride

I was thinking along the same lines as unityjon. Be careful of knee jerk reaction. May be worth speaking with fc/nt/graham and/or Dave before anyone starts digging as randoms with shovels could be just what is needed to get rid of everything over there!

Dave & Graham have been spoken to and are getting in touch with FC about what to do next. Hang fire with any repair work, all digging has to be supervised and approved.

It also wasn't the person named on here that dug out the hip, he just posted pics of the work after it was done.

I used to be a lot like you but now I'm only me
