I used to boil skate bearings in 3 in one oil might be worth a try
then pack them out with some multi purpose grease if you can flick the covers off

Look forward to you straight lining what ever we come across ( my elbows will be sharp)

Have packed the full body armour, the guys in those vids weren't hanging about and they were casing the landings. It is going to be whoop tastic!

I have a commitment here which means I can't set off till about 9 ish so can you let them know I will be there hope fully about 12 ish.

Nigel

Tough conditions on Saturday - particularly with my Minion/Ardent combo (not the best tyre choice for a very wet and muddy FoD) but still good fun!!

Hope everyone enjoyed it?

Noticed a lot of riders hitting the deck - including me, twice - the second time resulting in an avulsion fracture (http://www.livestrong.com/article/4561-need-bennetts-fracture/) in my right hand which now means I have a plaster cast and at least 5-6 weeks off the bike!!

Think I'll be rocking a more sensible tyre choice next time out!!

Think I saw some of you guys down there when I was coaching.

Super greasy that day! the Dh runs were quite challenging haha

I saw you up on the fire road a couple of times were you hitting the rooty stuff on the hardtail ?

that bottom section where all the criss crossing berms and jumps are is a lot of fun!

Sorry to hear about the break Northern!

Great setup they've got there. They just need a jump area and stuff now :)

I was very impressed it had everything, decent car park, cafe, work shop, retail, bike wash, showers, up lift and most importantly wicked trails!

the top of corkscrew was brilliant.

i'm looking forward to getting back over there in drier weather to see how it runs then too.
