Not sure how bored you have to be to do all this (missus is out on the razz tonight, thats how bored i am??)

http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za/CCY?PAGE=FIT_CALCULATOR_INTRO&INTRO_LINK=NOREDIR

basically you have to take a bunch of measurements and it gives you the dimensions for the bike so you can adjust stuff to make it better :?:

no i havent changed anything on my bike.....yet, might do just to see, can always put it back !!

It doesn't matter what you ride

Good find! Bike fit is always a good idea, but done properly in a shop is expensive so I don't think many of us bother. Most of us would probably benefit from a tweak of position or two. How many have been to a shop/done all the measurements themselves, to get their bike to optimal fitting?

Maybe for solely xc but otherwise I cant see it being worthwhile given how much you move about on a mtb

I offer the bike fit thing and tbh it suits more the road guys and the xc race guys - optimal fit and position is efficient but not always the most comfortable initially and you never want to be told that the bike you bought is the wrong size! best for when you're about to buy one
