Hi! Today I did a silly jump and didn't manage to clean it all so I end up hitting it half-way through, breaking 2 spokes and untrue wheel and little bit dented! I was wondering if undented the part that is dented(see the picutre below) it will be the wheel lose some strength on it since is pretty close where the wheel get attached together.

Thanks!

Looks like new rim needed to me - especially if you are jumping ;)

I don't think is that bad, I was going to get two new ones but the back wheel didn't fit my bike :( so I will stick with this one for while now till I see another good deal again!

A hammer, spokes and truing, it will live to fight another day.

I've ridden worse in my day.

Is that a split to the rim on the left of your thumb where the rim has been joined or just a bit of paint/dirt/photo thing?

If that's the case then you defo need new rim - not new wheel - just new rim with rebuilt wheel and you'll be golden.

May even be simpler to just buy a new rear wheel - new or used they are dirt cheep now.

But as the bang has opened the weld on the rim I'm suggest it's not worth the risk of a jump and the wheel giving out.

But if you are just riding round on it you'll probably get years more use out of it...
