I've got a couple of pairs of black spd cleats floating around in the shed (They came with pedals but I use the silver multi-release ones). If the others ones don't turn up PM me your address and I'll pop em in the post.

What is the difference between black and silver?

The black ones are single release - so release only by turning your heal outward
The silver ones are multi-release - you can turn your heal either in or out, (or in a moment of panic just yank them any old way)

I'll be sticking to silver then!

yeah, the new pedals always come with standard black ones, which is why I have them sitting in a box!

The only draw back, which hard as nails xc'ers complain about, is that you can pull your foot out on steep uphills with the silver ones. I reckon that has a lot to do with technique and if your used to flats then it is less likely.

A good local bike shop should be able to help you out with cleats...
