i don't know who told you that but i doubt it.

i have had two sets (for tarty reasons) and neither are showing any signs of wear after a lot of gloved use.

I'm still thinking about building a 456, but its the cost of a decent set of forks that put me off, and the fact i havent got the balls to ride it properly!

and i wore out a set of Excells in one trip to Afan, could of been where i was holding on for grim death!

those ones are rubbish
they go hard quickly and wear out too fast

Ive been using these for ages, and unless you grip hold of the bike like a vice like monkey grip :monkey: :monkey: :monkey: then they may do... Never worn any right through and find then comfy.. and for Bling value they are spot on :lol: :lol: :lol:
