Well after trawling around countless bike shops all over Essex and endless humming and harring i finally got what i wanted and at a great price and at the closest shop to me lol.

big thanks for all the import from you all and a special thanks to Carl for letting me drag him around all the above shops.

So here we have my Cube 2011 Race LTD, managed to pick it up for £829 (still being sold for around £1100) also wangled a £40 helmet, a floor stand and first two services for free :D

im feeling pretty happy now, might even get a full nights sleep without it all spinning about in me head, soooo need to get out for a ride soon....

for the spec look here

Haha yeah i no its been a monster job finding the right bike for me, only had a local road ride today as been pissing down but hope to go over local woods tomoz, the brakes are epic mate un real, seating postion does feel a bit long on the arms so think ill look in to maybe trying a stubby stem but its not bad just would like the bars a little bit closer maybe a tad higher if possible, think i can get one spacer in as is to raise them but not gonna make much difference...

Normally about 6.30-7ish but now as the light is fading they will become night rides which are fun. Obviously you'll need lights but then you can start as late as you need. The best lights value wise are magicshine P7 Cree led, 900 lumen. I've got two. I got them from dealxtreme online from the states but now you can get them from eBay for £32
Heres an item number for one of the current listings :- 330579680338

I'll check the lights out, will be up for some night rides. Might be best I do some trail riding first though, before I kill my self going down big hills lol
