I'm on a verge to forget about getting a second hand bike.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback.

I think I made my mind and I'll be getting the Canyon, the german Claude Butler :) once I get the money sorted.

Need to decide only whether its worth getting the FRX version or EX will be better suited for UK

Cheers
Peter

I had every intention to get a Canyon but I had an opportunity to buy a 2011 slightly upgraded voltage FR20 and I couldn't resist.

Brought it last night and I can't wait to take it to Danbury for a test. It feels like a tank compared to the AM rig.

Thanks mate, no unfortunately these are the basic race version. I was told that they are R2C2 but it turned out they are not :x

Harsh - There is a 300 quid difference between those 2 forks when bought new, so i hope you get a sensible resolution on that miss selling

Nice bike however!

I know.I got 100 quid price reduction because of that. I thought still better than the stock domains and the bike got upgraded x0 rear mech and shifter. I wonder whether the can be upgraded to r2c2 features?

You can drop an R2C2 cart in there, not a WC though. Its no matter though because even those basic ones ride really well.
