So after finally giving up on constantly servicing my FSA Orbit which was just too rough and wouldn't tighten properly I treated myself to a Superstar Grande Bamino:

After looking at fitting it myself, because I'm determined to do all my own repairs, I found a ghetto fitting kit on ebay, which cost me £7!

It took me 10 minutes to realise I'd put the crown upside down on the forks, because the headset had a huge amount of movement in it (but in my defense it did ship in the box that way). Still, smooth as silk now.

Good stuff.... I fitted the Superstar integrato headset as it was a sealed bearing type same as yours above as my old headset just fell apart.... fitting the was easy with the right tools, also the crown race is a split type so even easier to fit..

Difference is immense and smooooooooooooooooooth, I'm going to get another one for my other bike as I'm so impressed with them...

Completely agree, fitting was pretty easy and the split crown race means that I can remove it quickly when dropping my forks in for a service and switch of to my spares in a few minutes.

The quality of the headset for the price is excellent and seemingly well thought about with sealing, unlike the old FSA one.

That tool looks like something I tried to make from wooden blocks and threaded bar. Mine didn't work though! Every time I started tightening it would skew. I went super ghetto and just tapped each cup in with the wooden blocks, works fine if you're careful!
