Hi Guys

How much would i be looking for a shop to adjust my gears and bleed my avid elix-r brakes, or if anyone on here does a local home service kinda thing, how much would you charge??

I have no clue as to what to adjust on the the rear derailer (SRAM X9) but keeps slipping and rubbing on the front derailer (SRAM X7)

Sorry for the stupidity of myself, i ride but very rarely know about the mechanicals, always eager to learn though!

If your rear derailleur is rubbing on your front derailleur then there's something going very very wrong :D

To set up the rear, I used this guide from pinkbike - http://www.pinkbike.com/news/tech-tuesd ... -2010.html

There are guys on here who will bleed your brakes, I read about shops charging about £18 per brake, which was regarded as being fairly expensive, someone on here was offering to do it for a tenner each I think?

Hi mate...

I run a home bike service, i bleed brakes from £10, as for the gears, depending on what's the problem... If its simply adjustment, £5.

Haha yeah should of explained the rear derailer problem better! You know what I meant :-p

Just simple adjustments needed for the gears so that's great! I'm only in Leigh on sea so not a massive trek to tilbury, will pm you and discuss when it's good for us both in the next week or so!

Thanks
