Apart from the price, what is the difference between the brakesets?

I've no idea of the actuall difference, but the zee stuff is a cheaprr version of the saint range. Like slx and xt is to xtr, I would imagine its very similiar just a few grams heavier

I thought Saint was more DH kit..?

They are very similar. Saint has the odd additional feature - with the brakes its tool free adjust they also weigh less and in the hand they feel like better quality. - SLX Vs xt/xtr is a good analogy.

You can get saint for 150 a side and zee for about 100. Both are great choices.

With the rest of the groupset its about getting the right balance. Ive recently gone for the saint shifter as its a £10 more than zee but a zee rear derail as its £70 less than saint.

It's just that I feel like I've never got enough stopping power but its prob my 19 stone that's the problem! I'm thinking that the 4 pistons will be better than the usual 2 pistons. So, I might invest in a front brake and see how that feels, then maybe get a rear later on.

Ive got Shimano Saints and very happy with them, great stopping power especially if you are somewhere like the Alps where its very fast/steep..they add confidence.

Theres not hing imediately obvious difference between Saint & Zee apart from the price, I'm using the older 2011 Saint brakes and have just ordered the new 2013 Zee derailuer (mainly coz of the clutch/Shadow Plus) it has had great reviews and stops the chain flapping about, of course this also meant buying Zee 10 speed shifter and new 10 speed cassette and chain.
