I change tyres more often than the wind blows :)

Currently Wide Trail 2.5 DHF front and Wide Trail 2.4 DHR II rear, but now its drying out I'm wondering if I should try Minion SS in the rear :D

Honourable mention for 2.4 High Roller II as a front, never caused me any problems, but I've also used Super Tacky wire bead 2.5 DHF(too heavy but v grippy), 2.3 DHR II, 2.4 Trail King, X King in 2.4 and 2.2, 2.3 High Roller and a Rocket Ron, phew!

The obvious questions here,
What do you ride?
What terrain is it?
What style of riding do you do?

A,I ride a NS snabb e2 and I ride everything on it!
B,every kind of terrain there is.my parents live in fod so do alot of downhill so mostly in the woods
C,everything from dh and jumps to singletrack and xc.i would use the term "freerider" but it doesn't seem to exist in the bike world anymore

So with that in mind, I would suggest a wide open spaces tyre, like the Nobby Nic (I personally don't like) but the new HR2 work very well at FoD

I ride places like Danbury, Aston, Porc, Chicksands, Surrey etc.... I'm running at the moment HR2 front and rear on my Spec enduro, 2.3 tubeless at the rear and 2.4 at the front.

I find they're good but not great especially at the front, before that I had Magic Mary on my DH bike and they're the bollocks, so much grip but fitted to a lighter bike I'm not sure if it'd work out!

Perhaps Minion or even Butcher would have been a better choice for a front tyre. What about Hans Dampf? Anyone got any experience with them?

I've been riding my local woods, Swinley, chicksands so far this year, all my setups are tubeless.
My choices have been, Hans Dampf F Nobby Nic 2.25 R then switched to Dirty Dan R for the winter because Nobby Nic on the rear in local wet muddy woods was terrible, towards the end of last winter I bought Magic Mary for the front OMG..What a front tyre..!! In crappy slop it's amazing
Started this year with the Mary up front and moved the Dampf to the rear, was quite happy until I noticed it was rubbing on frame :(
So now I've bought Nobby Nic 2.25 v2 for the rear, so far it seems ok but not put many miles on it..
As Decoxx says about grip with Mary's, I have a lighter bike and I managed to have the front wash out on me at chicksands a couple of weeks ago.. :o  :(
Will maybe put Hans back on the front not quite made my mind up..
Ooh forgot to say, all tyres are trailstar front and pacestar rear..

Stay on target...!!

Ive got on one chunky monkeys on front and rear on my bikes, made my maxxis and really good value, a few different compounds to choose from and rim sizes and they go tubeless nicely. they performed well on tour de mont blanc last year, and are a good all round tyre

Tyres currently are black and round, two of the 29'er variety and two of the 27.5, and the rear being a Tourettes incident to set up tubeless
