You managed to get one in the end. Our one is still going strong. We use ours as a second stand in the shop to do punctures and stuff on, saves us taking stuff of the proper stand (kestrel engineering ). It dosent hold stuff where yo want it sometimes but what do you want for that money. If you want one that can hold a bike where you want it then add a zero to the price.

I'm more than happy with it. as long as you tighten it up its fine

if it bugs me in the future i'll just put a couple of holes through the tube and have a slide bolt in there to stop any slip
