I need to service my I.C.E (in case of Emergency) V8 dropper post, you know the cheapy ones that are the same as TMARS ones off ebay and the like, when i first got it i had issues with the cable (turned out to be user error LOL) but i got frustrated and managed to track down the suppliers in France and they were really helpful at the time, then a year or so on i bust a seal on it so i contacted them again via email and once again they popped the part in the post to me (at no cost !)

This time round i need a fair few parts, well i don't but i just want to freshen the whole thing up with guides, seals, cables etc so i popped them a message again asking if they could just quote me for all the parts i want and P&P, they did it comes to a grand total of €7 :!: LOFL

If anyone of you has one of these dropper posts (if you have a TMARS one, i'd suggest you call it a ICE V8 when enquiring !) contact Oliv at mtblparts and just ask, he /she is so helpful !! their website is here http://www.mtblparts.net/fr/

Also having a nose around a website you can barely read produced some interesting results like this:

a new version of the dropper with a better cable entry and nicer remote and only €117 ! (£98)

Its only monkey metal but i might be able to weld that up for you if i keep the heat low ? or you can ask them how much a replacement inner will be ? they're so cheap on parts
