Hoping we will find a regular there who can show us some routes. If not i will try and upload 1 from Endomondo, but then there is no guarantee that it will be any good. Either way we will have a blast.

Guys,

My first direct train to Chingford arrives at 10.30 so I won't be able to join you. Have fun & enjoy the ride!
I will come later in the day, should we somehow cross our paths I'll be the solitary rider on a blue Transalp bike, wearing a fuchsia shirt.

All the best! Thanks for opening the thread.

Andra

Another beautiful day in the forest. Thanks Martin for the leading. Treails dried a lot compared to yesterday. Muddy puddles easy to avoid. Who is the young fell on the rigid riding across the bigger ones? Mad!
And nice to meet stormy, I think, you have another Lynskey.

Summer tyres on!

You have plenty of trains arriving before 10am from Liverpool Street, which is a short ride from Bermondsey.

Well i just wanna say a big thanks for the ride today, was great (even though i was knackered :wtf: ) I can safely say, even with the route, Rossy and me would still be riding around the forest, probably in circles. Nice to meet some new faces, and am looking forward to the next time i can get down there.

On a side note, did anything happen when your chain managed to get over the plastic guard? hit a big root or stone maybe? or did it just jump there? If its the latter then that rear mech needs resetting i would say. There is no way it should travel that far past 1st. Back to your favorite bike shop

Yes a good ride today... full of slippy roots, makes a change  after last Sundays dusty ride.

As always good to meet some new faces

Javi... yes it's Stormy with the twin bike ;)

Really enjoyed todays ride. Needed it. Hadnt been on a bike properly in ages. My old GT did me proud, very happy with it. Had a few dodgy moments on the roots though, and my forearms got a real workout!

More tired than usual today, needed a lay down, and some more cake :P

I now know for next time. My phone app was showing me a total nonsense, checked on national rail and yep you're right, 4 trains every hour. Anyway, I went alone in the afternoon, not as fun as in a group, plus I was stopping form time to time to check with Google Maps. Glad to hear you had a good time. I hope to get to join you next time.
