Looking at a night ride Thu, I know Langdon Hills, never been to Thorndon so would need local guide! 6:30/7

I would be up for laindon hills Thursday, I have been there a couple of times before but not enough to guild. Thorndon is still quiet muddy at the moment, I've/we regulars have been doing mostly urban rides to avoid worsening it too much

Cool, I finish work at 6 in Orsett so could get there for around 6:30.....can go from Langdon Hills nature reserve car park off Lower Dunton Road???? Or Crown Pub/Tescos what ever is easiest for you to get to?

Bit muddy in the woods but not too bad, there's a lot of gravel paths we can use

Lower dunton road works for me, means start up going up hill = finish going down. 630 cool for me get home at 430ish. Does the car park lock up at all?

Is the Langdon loop any good? Staying in dover for 2/3 weeks for work so will pack my bike for next week if its worth getting my van dirty for.

Hard to say, depends what you're used to. I ride it because it's local and there isn't much else rideable this time of year. Can get a decent length XC ride but nothing hardcore if you're into that kind of thing.

I see you live in Dovercourt.....much to ride down that way? I grew up there, remember taking my Kirk Revolution (or M-Trax) to Stour Woods when I was a teen!!
