Hoping to get out for a ride this afternooooon around 1'ish but will confirm a bit later, prob go ride the Belhus route out to ingrebourne valley and then down the Thames cycle path upto the RSPB centre at Rainham for a cuppa and laugh at the bird watchers then either home or might even go back and do it all again in reverse depending on time and energy :shifty:

easy ride as only a small technical section with drops but all rollerball other wise its mostly just a mile cruncher with some nice scenery, can meet at Belhus woods visitors centre if anyone fancy's it...
Belhus Woods Country Park
Romford Road, Aveley, South Ockendon, RM15 4XJ

Festa, give us a shout next time you do this and I'll join you, I normally ride from ockendon around davydown and through Brannett's wood past Aveley kebabs across to belhus, cealy woods, and Warrick wood then back, it would be good to try some other stuff local, where else do you go ?

Hi Scott

we mostly ride the above and Thorndon, also hit Bedgebury Forest trail centre in Kent once a month or so..

you must be local to me, i normally ride with a few mates also in Ockendon, often get out mid week for a afternoon ride depending on work and ride most Saturdays and some Sundays.

done 26 miles yesterday on the above route so a good one for keeping the fitness up..

Sounds good mate

Yeah I'm from Ockendon over by Thurrock garden centre, you got light's yet ?, we normally ride midweek night rides
Can't get out midweek as I'm working and don't get home till 6pm.

There's five of us normally ride together but got two slower ones just getting their fitness up so can't go to crazy.

Sunday mornings is good with us, we have been Bedgebury a few times also, is good there.

You wasn't in Hangmans woods a few Sunday's back? Was morning i think me and Cempa came flying down hill from the woods and nearly rode into a small group of riders, we said hello and shot off

Was a good ride yesterday, nice day with good company although I was completely burnt out by the time we got back to ceily woods. First time where the legs just gave up, couldnt even drive the pedals when standing. Im surprised as im not suffering at all today.

Glad you had a good ride, was pretty fast and constant pace so does drain the legs a bit..

Yeah not easy looking at a map for this route, but it is easy once you do it. all along the Thames is an official cycle path but cant remember the number off hand but you may be able to look it up, the rest is just going from one wood to the next..
