I am hoping it is, 50/50 at the moment,

i am having to replace the bottom bracket, rear disc, gear cable, the jockey rings and both my chain rings and chain which snapped, oh and head set the whole lot has had it, lets just say it's not going to be cheap!

best part is i have sourced a few of the items so there will be upgrades ;-)

Wear and tear from all the riding in bad weather, I'm guessing.

Sounds very expensive indeed.

I thought you had a crash when i first read it. Then i realised how stupid that is. Who breaks their BB in a crash? Lol.

Are you getting the cassette changed aswell? New chains on old cassettes tend to make the gears jump alot.

Sort of makes all the mud worthwhile then :D

If it's not sorted for Sunday you're welcome to borrow my Hardrock.

We normally do about 16 miles and pace wise 7mph due to how bad the forest is, not much fire road... Usually out from 10am until 1pm or later.

Hey Matt...

You possibly know this but the car park linked in the first post looks a bit different now as it's in two halves now... rough part and a tarmac part. Either part is fine as you can see one from the other.

I'll be in a blue VW transporter van.

Pace is about the same as the Danbury Sunday rides taking the mud into account and ignoring Chatman and any XC whippets ;)

I know the car park so thats not a problem, will probably be in either a red seat ibiza or white bmw.
