I barely use my travel adjust, just the lock out for riding up hills, will look at some 55's

I never use my lock out on my bike (even in wales on the 45 min climb at afan, don't even use it on any fireroad climbs either). Fox do have TrailClimbDecend (?) setting on some of their models which might be better for you than a full lock out

Anything with a degree of compression damping will do the job jon

I know I don't have the travel on mine but I too never use the lockout..

Wales last October I just dropped them to 110 for all the long climbs

Floats would be nice but they demand top dollar second hand, found some Lyrics with motion control and u-turn for a decent price, local too from a warley guy.
