Hi ,

I'm currently based in Surrey and have been riding with the tunnel hill trolls for a few years now , but have the prospect of having to move ( work ) and change sides of the m25 , I'd like to check out the riding , do you guys do regular rides , eve or weekends ? Would happily repay any guiding with a tour of the troll home ground , there's more here than swinley :D

Cheers

Jo

Hi Jo, there are loads of local rides - eve and weekends - best thing to do is keep an eye on the ride calendar up in the right ^^^

Also where you based over here?

Lol - Milton Keynes! That's a little way north of Thurrock!

Welcome to the forum anyway!

Hi mate, there's some good xc around Woburn sands area and quite a few other woods close by to explore close to Milton keynes area.
I've been to Swinley a few times and enjoyed, not been since they've remodelled it tho, where is the Troll area then and what sort of stuff is there there?

I've heard/seen good things of Tunnel Hill... Holds out good in harsher weather from what I understand. You must be sad leaving :(

Tunnel hill is fantastic as are all of the other local bits of army land , lots of fast flowy singletrack , tunnel hill itself drains well , which given the current summers is good. I have been somewhat spoilt as if we are clever with trail selection we can get 100 mile loop taking in swinley and all of the surrounding army land with minimal road crossings and fire track . It will be a shame to leave if I have to :-( . So best get my research done
