Ok so I’m thinking of kidnapping Tranny and checking out Rogate and Hindhead DH trails on Sunday. For some reason I have the desire to check out something new! It could suck and not be worth the trip but there is only one way to find out. Im not offering any guarantees. It will be a full day sesh.

Anyone fancy it – or have any experience of riding those trails to give us a heads up on what to expect? Some directions would be a good start LOL.

No uplift - it shall be a winch/push up and plummet session - ff and pads

Hi guys,
I’ve been to Rogate few times- good place to ride and definitely worth a trip; it’s comparable probably with Aston hill- a bit shorter but more jumps, drops etc. there is I think 5 major lines, new dual slalom course, few drops, table tops, doubles; generally the local guys take care of the place and new features are build on a weekly basis, check the Rogate downhill facebook site for more info. From Southgate N14 is around 100 miles to the place. Never been anywhere with guys from the EHMTB and if you have a space in a car, please let me know

It’s a bit more there to ride than the movie shows! unfortunately, the road gap was destroyed if anyone is interested in

Hndhead....park in the cafe car park, cross the road and head thru a metal gate thing.
Turn left and follow the tracks and all will be revealed.

Ive ridden both and prefer Hindhead. Some bits remind me of Wales.

I had loads of fun at both! Hindhead trails are a bit steeper and longer. I can't make this ride though :-(
