Dude, I came to Danbury after the quagmire that was porc.

I went down a trial run and not only was it rutted to f£ck it was so sticky that I couldn't get no speed or grip.

Lo and behold I travel back the opposite direction for 1hr30 and Danbury is dry, free and fun.

After the marathon driving and early start I was far from on form so went home soon after.

How was your ride?

Porc- thats a shame mate after the effort of getting there. We must have just missed each other at Danbury , I left at midday

Danbury was STELLA :D , Love the place, just me and another fella for first 30 minutes then had the place to myself for the next two hours. Bone dry everywhere and most importantly I was feeling the flow, said high to the Hipline a few times for yer ;)

Really wanted to do the steep roots drop at the back but thought better of it in the end as no one around! All the lines are running sweeeet. Bet your there Sunday now ;) Enjoy.

Bike & me, all ready for Triscombe & Exmoor, Cant wait :D

The thing is with Sunday is that I'm should be taking a mate along who has very little experience. Chicksands is nice and wide, so easy to ride with your friends. But then Danbury - it's well local.... is high ground and not badly drained.

Looking at the current weather I'll be taking a cancel unless it stops by 8pm at the latest or both will be less than ideal.

Glad you had a good time. You're lucky to be going to tris and exmoor!

Were you on a trek, specialised, or hardtail ?- if so I probably saw you riding.

Never been to either place but the guys really rate it so should be a real blast over a weekend.

Nope not me I was on a very clean red/white 2010 Devinci Wilson

Catch you at danbury/ woburn sometime (Woburn isgreat for autumn /winter riding)
