Who's up for pre-Christmas uplift fun at FoD on Sunday 11th December 2011? Loads of spaces free at the moment...

I'm booked in already - 15 spaces left - can we do the essexhertsmtb clean sweep and take all 16 places!!!

Booking done on line @ https://www.flyupdownhill.co.uk/booknow.asp?m=12&y=2011

....This will hopefully complete my uplift-a-month-challenge in 2011 - open invite to all, comedy santa outfits optional

Memememememememememememe!

My towpath pootle today did not make up for the downer on not being able to come to UKBP with you guys.

Re built the downhill bike with my newly serviced 40s last night whilst listening to the Roam soundtrack. Am itching for some big bike action.

Think it will be another 3 or 4 weeks till fully mended so this is perfect timing. Should be all systems go by then!!!

Will speak to the wife for clearance and then book up.

Nigel

Me and a friend would be up for this.
Whats it like at FOD, we went to Aston Hill on Saturday for the first time, was good fun but very slippy! mate had quite a few spills on the roots.

FoD's got a similar feel to Aston Hill but probably a bit more variety in the tracks and a few more tech features - and works a lot better in the wet than Aston!

I added this to the original post but for those that didn't see it - booking for the uplift can be done online here:

https://www.flyupdownhill.co.uk/booknow.asp?m=12&y=2011

We can sort cars / lifts / convoys etc. nearer the time.

Very different style of trails but if you were fine at Cwmcan you'll have a blast at FoD

I've looked at some vids looks good, but I think I need to go local and have jumping tutorial first!

Stefan the ankles ok, but still gives trouble every now and again. Have you got your chain sorted?

I've done at least 2 days there in the wet and found it rides surprisingly well as most of the tracks are pretty well built with good drainage
