Semi bored...

Getting a bit bored of riding Thorndon and not fancying the canvey/benfleet/hadleigh or Epping trails... So what are my other options? What other good trail rides do you reccomend? Fancy a Goodeally a good forest ride 8-)

Cheers :high5:

Aston hill? I did a bit of the XC the first time I was there, too much like hard work though for me :D (but I've heard good things)

Yeah... I might actually go back to my old stomping ground, the XC track was always pretty cool, and there's the rest of the forest.. Hmmm, got me thinking.

Depending how far you want to go, theres a few places.
Bedgebury in Kent is pretty good, Good faciliities, bikes hop and cafe
Swinley forest, Berkshire - went there today for the first time and really enjoyed it. Has a real mix of terrian, xc - mild dh stuff and jumps.

How much of Epping have you seen cos theres a few guys on here that really know it well and have shown us some good trails around there.

Yeah, rode quite a lot of Epping, might actually shot over there tomorrow as its only a half hour drive for me. ;-)

How far is Bedgebury from Thurrock area then?

North downs; the surrey hills, swinley (bracknell) and the army land around farnborough/aldershot if you can get access.

I'm going to try an link up a few Danbury cross country loops. Can squeeze 20 miles out with a few lane link ups

Thetford forest is about 1.5 hours, 2 trails of about 10 miles each. Mix of tight single track, fire roads. Some of it is fairly mundane some flowing.

Bedgebury I would say is about an hour from thurrock.
