Thanks for the advice, it's not a new bike, bought it second hand, wasn't too sure how much I'd still enjoy mtb after many years out of riding man powered! But I wanted a decent base bike to start with rather than a generic mtb that was only for light use and I'd end up replacing, quite into personalising so can always add parts as I break/upgrade them
I will definitely be joining you guys for some rides once I get my fitness and skills to an acceptable level as enjoyed being back out on the bike, so I can pick your brains for upgrades and maintenance advice. Already looking into new forks, current are marzocchi mz race, which after some reading sound like a pretty basic set, and feel overly soft and have no lock out, so I'll be asking for advice on that pretty soon!
