I've just bought a pure racing KS dropper seat post in 27.2mm size, really can't fault it at all apart from the price (£170ish). only bad thing with mechanical post is that it is either fully up or fully down which so far with mine i love as i can adjust it to exactly the correct size for the terrain. 4" travel is more than enough for trail riding. has totally changed my riding especially in Wales where you are up and down all the time.
