Has anyone changed a bottom Bracket on a Lappierre zesty 314 ? My one has started to creak i think its a shimano press fit, just wondering if its worth putting back the bog standard or upgrade to a more expensive one ?

Cheers.

Hi,
Can't really offer much advise as I've never done one but my Zesty 314 has started doing the exact same , I've been thinking the same is it worth upgrading or just replacing old for new?! I've re greased the ball bearings thinking this would resolve the issue but unfortunately its no different. It's the tools that's needed for the job that I don't have.. there's vids on youtube that show how its done which seem pretty straight forward...

Yep, press fit.... Put an XT in it's place, they're notorious for lasting a lifetime.

Give them a call first to make sure, they dont seem to carry a lot of stock and order stuff in when needed

They're a really nice company too, I've ordered a few things from there. They also seem to be very Zesty orientated in the product line-up.
