Is it a superstar one ?. Im thinking of getting some newies, my current ones are very 'hollow' (i.,e not much metal) which are light but perhaps Im losing stopping power ?. They sometimes glaze up (well the pads) which is annoying, although worked well on my trip to Morzine, I wore through two sets of pads too !.

They are anno

Going to get one for the rear, but will stick to 160mm. Brakes hardly squealed today (well the front anyway)

I had a low speed rubbing squeak today but I've got organic pads in atm so not ideal for bog crossings and wading!

I've got some sintered pads on order (well they sent wrong ones firstly) have these in my HT Avids and they have lasted a while, also don't squeal like the std OEM fitted ones...
