Finally got the Bastrds!!

First impressions are good. full alloy casing looks strong. battery pack looks solid. there is no indicator on the battery pack like other models but thats fine. here is a quick pic:

Well after getting caught out on the torrential rain on the way home last night I can confirm that the latest version of the MJ-808E is definitely waterproof.:-). I also order the one Hannibal linked to for £36 but it still hasn't turned up. Seller has said if it doesn't arrive in 2 days then they will send another so can't complain too much.

I got one of these Cree lights from Hong Kong, really impreesed with it. Cost £35 posted. and for that money if it lasts a couple of months who cares :-)

These ones were from Deal extreme. I liked the red on them so went for them. i thought these were uk stock but were not. Ordered on the 11th October. you do the maths! = fooking long time! wont make that mistake again.

It wouldnt be so bad if they kept the tracking up to date. The last correspondence was on the 19th Oct.

Anyway, they are here now! time to get out and play.

Went down to curry's and they had some for 6.99!! there is a 99p store near me so think ill give that a shot.

well worth 36 notes.used mine a few times now.got to order another.
