I'm looking to buy my brother a MTB maintenance book for a Xmas pressie. He's a total beginner so doesn't need to be too in depth, (ie I don't think any wheel build / fork stripping needed). I've seen the Haynes and the Zinn one on Amazon, any views? Thanks in advance

I'd recommend the Park Tool Big blue book. I don't have it myself but have heard its good from more than one person.

Ive read the Haynes Bike Book.

Its quite good and covers everything as well.

It was given to the missus on a cycle bikeability trainers course...nuff said.
