There is nothing overly challenging at Cwm. Its a great place to do your first uplift. All rollable and really only becomes a challenge when you start to go fast. Lots of vids in the gallery section showing the track :)

Had a look at the vids, looks really good, put my name down as a yes. Got myself a pisspot helmet, is it worth getting a full face though/anyother pads?

Definitely recommend a full face, I had knee pads and gloves and that was it. Depends on your confidence as to whether you need arm and chest/back protection. For my first uplift I felt pretty confident as I had ridden trails in Wales before and had confidence in my limits.

What bike are you riding? I have an AM 140 front and 130 rear full sus, I wouldn't really ride Cwm with anything smaller as it was quite hard on the arms and legs with the stutter bumps and stuff.

If you do go, it's a brilliant day and there's plenty of opportunity to improve your riding and progress with speed at a good pace.

I hope that helps.

Kona Dawg so 130 front and 140 at back, both shocks are air so can adjust to suit conditions. can drop seat all the way out of the way
Got gloves, some knee pads i can use, I might have to have a look for a full face then, know any sub £100 helmets worth while?
