Morning Chaps

I have a nice cheap helmet cam which is OK but could be better.. But I'm off skiing this January and my mate wants to get one so we can get some fun footage of our exploits on the slopes..

His wife has also now contacted me to ask for pointers on a cam as she's gonna get one for him for Christmas.

We're not looking at GoPro, etc as brilliant as they seem, we don't want to have to worry about them / damage / theft, etc... Also budget will be restricted..


Any recommendations greatly received..

Oh, and I reckon, seeing as we've now entered December and Christmas coming, etc.., we'd be looking at UK sellers only.. Can't gamble on Hong Kong delivery getting here in time...

Contour would be my choice

it has gps and bluetooth so you can watch it back on your iphone

Does look like a good option...

Will just need to consider PC graphics card requirements for capture / playback of footage... I think they only have a laptop in the house so may not be up to scratch....

I use a contour GPS and its great! But comes at a price.
I would look at drift innovation cameras or epic cam!
