Hi all, I have just joined this forum today as I live in Essex and want to get out more on my bike and for sure get off road. However I have another request, in my part time I am a professional photographer, most of my work these days is portraits with weddings, fashion and glamour. I did start with motor sport photography though and have an awful lot of location professional gear.

So I would love to know if there are some really good riders here that would be willing to spend some time with me one Saturday or Sunday and we get some great action shots, I am particularly looking for mid air jumps from the side and from underneath, some great corner action on loose gravel too would be great. I would be looking to give whoever helps me high resolution digital copies of any of the images taken.

I don't have my motor sport work online right now, but my portrait work can be seen here so you can see I know how to take a photo http://www.nickbuntonphotography.co.uk

I shoot some video on my DSLR too, so maybe some video taken too.

Why dont you come along to one of the organised meets?
A day trip to chiky or Woburn?

I'm sure the big borys would be willing to put on a clean pair of shorts for you

Thanks, I got a cheap bike last year just to get fit and see if enjoyed riding again which I do :) So I just sold that to a mate and got a board man ht pro as needed to offset some tax, had a good ride home and love it, so now want to properly get off road with it, but not run before I can walk...

Be careful buntonn, pretty soon you'll be completely torn between taking the camera and taking the bike! It's a great problem to be lumbered with though :D !

If everyone's putting on a big show for a photo sesh at some point count me in for the photography part too

i'll 2nd that

what i do when i wana mix the 2 into 1 ride, is ride the trail with cam in bag, tell mates too wait a minute or 2 before following down, when ride a bit think would look sweet in a pic, slam on brakes, get cam out, quickly setup, take shot, pack up, meet mates at end of trail

My main camera is a Nikon d3, they weigh a ton, so never together :) I just got a Nikon 1 though, so fast at 60fps and full HD video, so that will be in my backpack for sure... Yes that sounds a good plan riding ahead and call the rest through to film.
