Are there are good places not a million miles away that stock a lot of good cycling clothes including protective clothing? I buy a lot online, but always like to look at clothes etc in the stores.

couple of places in freeport will do some
if you fancy a little drive, chelmer cycles do some in chelmsford
decathlon at lakeside
jjb/sport n soccer/sportsworld
armour is trickier to buy off the shelf, some ski shops are good for that, best off meeting riders and see what they are wearing

Not worried about names, just need some warm stuff for the winter and need to get some protection for off road biking as only have a hat right now, need to watch my right knee to as I get trouble running too much as it was damaged in an RTA in 88.

I need to go to Hornchurch soon, so I'll checkout the stores in Romford. Always at Lakeside so I'll check those out too.

Cheers guys :)
