Opinions on these please. I'm not one for pads and things as i tend to land on my head or bounce! so these could be a solution?

They'll be good for general xc and the occasional off you may have and good for those wanting some protection but dislike bulky pads. Alternatively they'll keep your legs warm in winter. ;)

The problem is getting hot when wearing protection. Depending on the riding ie if its a long uphill to do the down then might be a thought to buy something thats quick release so you only wear them on the down. just a point to think about really.

When i rode in spain a few years back andI fell in to the fucking cactus thingy, I wished I had some protection lol. Its bloody scary in them mountains thats for sure with seriously steep descents rocks etc.

I have dianese you can borrow with velcro fastener so 30 secs to put on or take off and elbow pads if it helps. Dont go buying for one holiday and I dont give a shit if you mess em up mate lol.
