Useless Fact: I was the first person ever to complete the BHF London to Brighton off road ride
things i would say about the ride....
I agree a GPS is v usefull. The ride is not well signed so getting lost is guaranteed
The Ride itself is not that technically challenging apart from a few pieces over the North Downs
The slog along the railway track (north to south downs link) can be boring unless you can just put the hammer down and get it done
The last climb to get over the South downs is a bugger

really enjoyed it. It was somethnig different and my day was blessed by sunshine all day.
It is a fantastic training ride. It took me around 6 1/2 hours of solid riding, which gives you a great sense of acheivement once you finish.
Your first pint post ride, sitting on Brighton sea front. is one of the best thngs you will drink
