Which to be fair is far less grief than tubeless, gives a good result and means you can carry on swapping tyres without too much hastle

I also thought of going tubeless...but too much hassle and money. Is that first column 'rider weight' in pounds?? No way!

If you had tubeless tyres on your bike we'll have to tether you to the ground as it would float away, strong winds and your be off over the hedge tops 

Get some slime tubes to add weight....

I have stans rim tape on standard mavic 219 rims and tubeless hi roller, great combo, not had a go a swapping to winter tires yet though last year i just kept my minion hi roller combo, apparently riding with little on no grip helps your riding style ;)

Who said Racing Ralphs are recommended for this time of year, do they have their head screwed on straight, there a dry tyre.

I'm waiting for my tubeless wheels to be built, hopefully have them by Saturday. I've been spectical about tubeless for ages now but having read up and got advise I'm beginning to understand it all now.

Buying a tyre took the longest, everytime I found a tyre I liked, I found something wrong with it, bad tread pattern, sidewalls not thick enough, wasn't folding, measured up too small or too big and general lack of info on some tyres.

In the end I wnet with a Michelin Wild Rock'R 2.5, shame it was a wire bead and weighed a tonne but I'm playing it safe then I'll go with lighter tyres. I'm also under the impression Michelin's inflate really easy and keep their air the longest and the sidewalls are seroiusly thick from when I used them years ago for trials.

when i jet wash my mud x's you can see the stans sealant coming through what would have been a puncture if i'd have been running tubes, there must be a 50+ in each wheel, but i've never had a flat in the 2 years that they have been tubeless and the never lose more than around 5psi over a week if not used.
just make sure when you buy your valves, if presta, that the have removable cores so you can add the sealant via the valve stem when the tyre bead has been seated and top it up every six months or so. i use a 5ml syringe to inject the sealant, the kind you give kiddies medicine with. then its fit and forget!

Ordered sealant, 21mm yellow rim strip and 2 universal 35mm valve stems.
Now thinking of buying a syringe from pharmacy instead of the one they sell.
