Gonna have to play the 'old bloke that should know better and does!' Card today. I think you should all do the same!
Langdon hills can be a struggle on a dry day, but there's possibly a foot or so of snow there! I don't want to see any one injured and unable to ride for a month or so. I'm off back to bed.

Oh no, does this mean the 9am ride @ Langdon is off? I think the roads are fine - just drive to conditions, and the same applies to riding I think - I've ridden snow before and (apart from the cold!) its bloody good fun. I'll be there 9am anyway, if nobody shows by 9.15am then I guess I'll go for a look around alone. Hope I survive! :D

Just been out local for an hour, had to ride on slushy roads as just too deep to get any traction in the fields and byways. It was good fun and not that cold but I almost came off a couple of times and I was going slow.

I think it's just too deep in the open to get anywhere, may be different in forest cover but I'm not gonna take a risk. I may get my Snowboard stuff and try and find a slope somewhere!
