Worst day since the snow fell today, snow hasnt melted in the forest and it seems to have partly frozen overnight.
highlight was riding in some tracks left by a forest vehicle, rest was slightly quicker than walking but slower than jogging.

need sun or rain to clear it, weather looks like another freeze night tonight

Went for a ride with Cempa, done a 16 mile loop through Belhus out to Ingrebourne Hill then cut across to the Thames chase and rode along the Thames to the RSPB Rainham were we had Soup and roles yum yum. conditions in the woods are still pretty trying in places worse than i thought they would be now but we pushed on, was still an enjoyable ride as weathers nice today but bloody cold on the way home....

Sorry no map mate, but ride through Belhus Woods cross Romford rd into Celey woods out on to road and into Berwick Ponds follow through to Hornchurch Country Park then into Ingrebourne Hill, out to main road by Albion Pub cross Dovers Corner past Tescos onto Rainham train Station, over bridge follow road to Thames chase then follow Thames until you reach the RSPB centre. From there we just hit the roads to home.

I'd like to try something like the Romford/Hornchucrh/Rainham route on Saturday morning.
Don't suppose any of you guys are about then for an hour or so?

Not sure about Saturday yet, depends on weather. if its cleared then will go either Thorndon or may even go Bedgebury or Epping. if its still pretty ruff then may well do same as today again..

Actually this Saturday might not work, least not the morning.
Need to get some tyres fitted to the motorbike and the place shuts at 12:30!
