Just got back from picking it up, £150 off of ebay, pinnacle trojan 2.0
He was originaly selling it for £400 b.i.n
Then noticed a crack in the rear wheel, so lowered to £250
and had bidding with a reserve of 150, bid the 150 and won it :D
so all it needs is a new rear rim and everytihng else is perfect :P

well chuffed atm

Nah keeping this one geared

already have a ss bike

came with a dmr ss kit aswell so if i wanted to could of easily

anyway been to 2 bike shops - 1st which is hte one i say is more reliable reckoned it was in manufacture not lined up properly when it was welded cos the stickers hadnt broke, so he reckoned it wasnt cracked, so said if it was him hed ride it but keep an eye on it

other bike shop who do sometimes exagerate problems to try and get a bit of money said it was gone and was cracked (the other bike shop did spilt the sticker though to take a look...) but suggested emailing evans as its there brand and tell them and see if theres anything they can do on warranty and if they ask for a reciept say cant find it, and just see if i get lucky...

so i reckon ill email evans and see, but keep riding the wheel and if it goes get a new wheel then

Get a pic up....

I rode a shitty wheel on my cruiser for a year with the join cracked. It was mega, had totally come appart and was offset by about 3mm. So bad I couldnt use the rim brake.

So long as all the spokes are tight, its not the end of the world.

My bad :)
In my opinion i would listen to the first shop you tried because if there was any problem with the rim, the shop would try to make you buy a new rim, but see if Evans will replace it :D

Hmm.
Ive deffo ridden worse, but Id say thats split for sure. You can see where the sticker has torn appart. If it was like that out of the factory, the sticker would line up perfect.
