After a few weeks away - was thinking of hitting up Woburn for a Freeride / DH session this coming Saturday - anyone else keen?

Weather forecast is looking good for the weekend and hopefully the snow should be a memory by then....

Tom - heard you'd picked up a new frame - Damo's Froggy I'm led to believe - have you got much to sort? Let me know re. Saturday...

Hey northern,

yep i have a froggy now, its running ok i need to replaces the pads which seems to be more difficult than it should be- any ideas? i have wrenched with a large Flathead and old pads in to try and get the pistons back whilst pumping on the leaver.

it might just need some more muscle, i will try again tonight, other than that its just a new chain to fit and a new cassette so should be all good for the weekend. The wheel bearings went in really easily and make a huge difference!

Never been to Woburn. Is it good for xc? Don't think my 120mm hardtail can cope with the stuff you're going to do

Its good for XC mate - see thread here http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/mountain ... t1539.html

Northern has some info on it to.

You will be able to ride a few of the lines in the DH area with the hardtail no worries
