Can someone recommend a good campsite near cwmcarn? Preferably one that is easy to cycle to the trails from and with a pub nearby

There is a campsite next to the uplift and visitor centre. Its a 10-15 minute walk into town where there are shops and pubs.

The one next to cwmcarn is good, when I stayed there, there was decent facilities, showers, toilets etc, but from what I can remember it was quite expensive £40 for the weekend

There is also a holiday home about a 5min ride away which is nicely equipped, when I stated there it worded out at £110 for 3 nights Friday-monday, with a secure shed in the backyard for bikes

Showers, toilets, pub, perfect, and its not camping unless its raining, going at the end of march so should still be winter prices.

Be careful with bike security, every time I've stayed at the campsite next door we heard of someones bike getting pinched. Last time our locks had damage in them from bolt croppers - luckily I had a tough enough lock (£70 Abus job) and my mate had motobike chain and they didn;t get through, so make sure you have a good lock or keep it in the car/ guaranteed lockup.
