Greg - Personally I'm a fan of quite neutral processing. Sometimes it leaves shots looking a little washed out, but I've never really liked the really heavily edited look.

jimwise68 - Very nice to meet you, and your mental mate too (please tell him that brakes are a good invention, especially when they come in pairs ). I only ended up with one shot of each of you, I didn't post them as I didn't know you were a member here, I'll tweak it and upload it soon though


Looking forward to the next one guys. Then once I've remembered how to use a camera properly, I'm thinking of dabbling in video, anyone game? I'm thinking something like Follow Me, only better. Set in Essex...

Haha, well I hope so! Got a fair bit of learning to do first though, before I've got the editing skills to do anything even remotely similar!!

Cool - you mentioned getting a bit of feedback - here my tuppence worth - ive found that when post processing backlit photos bringing out the shadows with the "shadows and highlights" option if you have photoshop can make some subtle but nice improvements. See below. It just brings out the dark areas a little better - jersey knee guards foliage, tread on tyres
