First off i know there has been lots of other peaople talking about dropper post previously but i got a different problem to whats best one to have. Unfortanty my bike takes 30.0mm seat post instead of the more common 30.9mm or 31.6mm size, having a look around i have not been able to find a manufactor of a dropper seat for my size other than a Gravity Dropper (http://gravitydropper.com/). The thing is these ones are mechanical and so have either fully up or fully down (2, 3, 4 , or 5 inch drop depending on what you speck) unlike air or oil ones that can be set to exactly the height you are after.

Does anyone know of a dropper seatpost that fits 30.0mm?

I have spoke with Evens cycles and they say "dropper seat post manufactures can't make all the gubbings (seals and chanbers ect) small enought to fit in anything smaller than a 30.9mm tube."

Seeing as ninja has a 27.2mm dropper someones telling porkys.

So i have got two/three options, thankyou one and all

Evans=Halfrords staff that have moved "up" in the world.
Only decent things about Evans is they tend to have a lot of bikes on show and do price match, apart from that, their crap.

Spence... What Ian said. :)

It's not just about getting the saddle out of the way for jumps. I use mine all the time doing xc whenever attacking fast section, downhill section, fast stuff, etc. you can change how the bike behaves at speed and it feels so much better chucking about with your centre of gravity dropped :)
