I'm out... No car again as the missus will use it until i put a new engine in hers so I'll probably meet you at the Old Vienna (7:15 - 7:30 ?) as i can ride there direct through Belfairs then i'll dip out at shipwrights again, managed 8 miles last night out to Hadleigh and back through the park to benfleet and thought i'd forgotten how to breathe by the time i got home

really need to get out more, missing a few rides has knocked me right back !

Cool.. I'll probably get away from my house between 7:10-7:15 so will head for Old Vienna then.

Marco & James , Shall I get Tony to meet you at corner of Chalkwell Park at about 7?

You guys can then either swing by mine or meet me at O V?

Geoff, hope you feel better soon

Jon & James, I presume Marco in contact with you... When I spoke to them, they were huddled under cover at Chalkwell park. I rode as far as Leigh Fire Station to see if it passing but got absolutely soaked so turned around :(

Disaster.....

It's all gone wrong tonight. James got stuck in traffic, my nephew came along but forgot some of his gear so went home. Jon was waiting alone at the OV getting soaked and me and the boys were huddling together like boys at cub camp trying to keep warm waiting for the torrential rain to pass.

Less than a mile travelled and have never been so wet and cold, oh well roll on summer!!!

:)

:O( cold and wet, very wet, was dry when i arrived and then the heavens opened, sat in it with no shelter for 1/2hr then James turned up and heard from Marco so left to go home, could hardly see on the way home it was so bad! still managed 11 miles tonight, here's the proof...

I headed out (much to dismay of Surfette) and got as far as Leigh Fire Station, hoping it would blow over.

Sheltered in bus stop, already soaked. It was getting worse and worse so headed home.

Shame... Felt really lazy and frustrated all evening now! :(

What a bitch of a night! A127 was mental from dick turpin to Rayleigh hardly moving so I thought i'd try the A130 as it appeared clear, wrong move! it took 45mins to get to sadlers farm roundabout.

Met Drenched Jon at OV at about 7.20, but the rain weren't letting up until I was on me way back home!

Never mind always next week and the summer is fast approaching!! Catch you all laterz
