So.... Who's planning on getting together for a ride over the long weekend, and whete???

I was thinking of maybe organising a ride on Monday or Saturday on the circuit I ridr over Thorndon, unless someone comes up with something better.

I might be able to sneak over, how far and what pace ? I would like to meet you guys for a ride I'm a bit lardy at the moment though

Well I've never joined a ride on here, as never seem to meet... LOL.
Which is why I'm open to organising one, or finding a group ride to jump in with

But, if i was to organise one, it would always be around the slowest rider, and we'd do one lap, have some breathers on route, stop for a cuppa and see how everyone gets on.... I'm no olympian by the way, LOL, just enjoy the ride....

I've never ridden Thorndon I've always been a Danbury or away day rider .

I loved riding Danbury at the weekend but either my internal trail map is off or some trails have moved

. I felt so slow

This is purely xc, none of the jumps and lairyness of Danbury.... Saying that, does have some short blasts and and equally some good climbs

I'm a Danbury xc rider not ever been Very successful at being lairy even on my enduro I was a trail centre boy.

In an ex DH and jump fiend.... But now, not feeling the "lairyness" any more and just enjoy plain old riding.

Hill training for wales starts for me this weekend, will be out at langdon hills sat and sunday mornings around 9 ish. feel free to come and bust a lung with me. plenty of good fast downs as well. want to be out as early as possible but flexible.
