I thought some people might be intrested in this, it a group that meet down in Southend on a Saturday morning (9am) at progress road and ride in Hockleigh woods area for 2-3 hours, they do organise other rides as well in the local area and enter wiggles, evens, Mud sweat gears and more.

Real mix of ages and abilities, there's even a few WAGS that go out with them

Hope it helps

Hi spence, yer i do ride with them when i can, its just such an early start that puts me off at times lol

Yer some of them do do the grips ride but as a rule the place is a lot slower than the grips ride.
What they have started to do is go out in two groups at a time, fast and slower, to try and get as many people involed and not feel out of their deapth. Age runs from early 20's to 60's, mix of hardtail and full sus riders

Meet a guy called Glenn Horton at the olympic legacy event last night who spoke of this group and also hippos? And he's starting a new group called happy mondays tgb (ten green bottles) setting off from ten green bottles bar in Leigh on mondays! And plans to develop the club into the one associated with the olympic course as he works on it

Posted from my phone ' cos I can't wait to get to a PC!
