Buy one and say it's for her, once you've built it up to a very high spec... in a few months.... by which time she'll have forgotten about it? :D

Yup she pretty much had it with the head tube thing. One last lot of rides down here in Somerset before Sunday.

Might get one myself as my car was £60 to get repaired and I was dreading the worst.
So now to hunt for a cheap set of 6" forks ;-)

:) yup. Well I'd be happy with some 120 - 140mm ones.

There's going to be a shortage of 100 - 150mm forks now thanks to on-one and their reasonable prices now isn't there?!

I now own a beefy brown 456 . That's all my budget so will be running 100mm rebas :) 120 if I can internally adjust really using all the six inches up.
It's a long term project for me :)

I was struggling to decide between the beefy brown 456 and the ketchup red summer season.... Went for the latter in the end for the slacker geometry :D

It gets delivered tomorrow

I ordered the beefy brown a day before you and still haven't had a dispatch email :( Not that it makes any difference as I'm away on holiday and it's being delivered to work! I'm thinking it might pair nicely with some Sektors as they adjust from 110 - 150mm.

Sounds good I have a blue seat post coming as well. £14.99 :) I have no budget . Slx front mech cheaper with crc than merlin. I've got a 50mm stem from my enduro. Also ordered blue gear cables all I need for Xmas is some decent rims.

Well I've just received the dispatch email, should arrive on Moday. It was in my account straight away though awaiting processing. Fingers crossed for you!
