There's a link earlier in the thread, copied below:

http://www.bhf.org.uk/get-involved/even ... ps=1001317

Which says it's £31 to book online, or £35 on the day, so I think you can just turn up from the sounds of it! Definitely up for this :D

I'm really interested in doing this, done the london to brighton road ride several times, and I could do with another incentive to give up the fags and get fit!. I've registered with the BHF, so come on lets go!

I know this is an old thread, but I'm doing this years with a few mates and wondered if anyone else was doing it

Also was planning on wearing SPDs, I would not say I was proficient at getting out of them in an emergency, what is the level of technical stuff, for example I would not wear them over Thorndon but happily on Epping fire roads etc

Cheers

Been thinking about this on & off for a while now - How is everyone getting home afterwards? - That's one of the main reasons I haven't made a decision yet.

I was thinking of trying to book a hotel and making a weekend of it, that way the wife can drive the car down and I get a lift home on the Sunday - but to be honest I'd rather just come back home on the Saturday!
